  • Isolation exercise
  • Muscle targeted – Biceps
  • Can be done with an EZ-bar or straight bar.

Male | Female

With a solid bar about an arms length above the floor, lie flat underneath it, facing upwards. Grab the bar with an underhand grip (palms towards you) Keep your legs straight and heels on the floor as you pull yourself upwards. Lower yourself down to the floor. Keep in control of the motion the whole way.

Why it’s good:

Because you have to control the movement the whole way, your arms get a really good workout.

What to watch out for:

Although this is a great exercise that you can improvise with any bar and a couple of chairs, be careful not to use a broomstick or any thin wood. If it snaps, the results can be pretty painful.
